To inspire young people to “actively participate in public affairs and confidently express themselves,” “identify with local culture and promote intergenerational growth,” and “develop digital skills to amplify their influence,” the Hsinchu County Government’s Department of Education has organized a summer volunteer service camp for youth aged 15 to 45. This initiative aims to guide youth in their personal growth, foster local identity, connect with the global community, and encourage involvement in local volunteer services.
Camp Information:
1. Bilingual Ocean Education Camp
o Date: July 5–6, 2025
o Location: Feng Tien Elementary School, Hsinchu County
o Registration Period: From now until June 15, 2025
2. Dream Weaving by the Sea Camp
o Date: July 26–27, 2025
o Location: Hsin Yue Beach & Shuiyue Leisure Farm
o Registration Period: June 6 – July 6, 2025
3. Culinary and Hakka Cultural Learning Camp
o Date: August 16–17, 2025
o Location: Luliaokeng Community, Qionglin Township
o Registration Period: June 26 – July 27, 2025
Each camp is a two-day, one-night event. Participation is completely free. Those who complete the full program will receive: • 6 hours of special education training • 6 hours of volunteer service hours • One camp T-shirt • One drawstring backpack
