NTNU Social Issue Action Grant Program<\/strong>\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6\ufe0f Eligibility and Requirements
1.Applicants must becurrent undergraduate, master\u2019s, or doctoral students at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU).<\/strong>\u3002
2.Applications may be submitted individually or as a team.<\/strong>Team members may include NTNU faculty, staff, or students from universities within the National Taiwan University System,provided that at least 50% of the team members are currently enrolled NTNU students<\/strong>.
3.Each individual may serve as the principal applicantfor only one project<\/strong>per semester.
4.Applicants selected in the first-round review must participate in a risk management training session organized by the NTNU Holistic Education Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required documents:\n\n1.Application Form \u2013 NTNU Social Issue Action Grant Program Application
Project Proposal (3\u20135 pages), including:\n\nTopic and background\n\nObjectives\n\nService field and target group\n\nImplementation methods\n\nRisk management\n\nDivision of labor and timeline\n\nExpected outcomes
Project Duration \u2013 One semester by default; may be extended to one academic year if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6\ufe0f Proposal Topics & Guidelines
1.Applicants are encouraged to propose self-initiated topics, including (but not limited to):\nEnvironmental protection, educational support, public health, cultural preservation, community development, social welfare, sports and recreation, international service, etc.
2.Each project should include planning elements such as:\nNeeds assessment, issue exploration, preparation, hands-on action, guided reflection, outcome sharing, and evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6\ufe0f Grant and Award Structure
Phase 1: Application Review Incentives
1.Projects will be evaluated and awarded based on their review scores.
2.Grants range from NT$1,000 to NT$3,000 per project.
3.Selected applicants must submit a midterm progress report on time to receive the grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 2: Outstanding Team Awards
1.Upon project completion, applicants must submit a final report by the specified deadline.
2.The top three projects and several merit awards will be selected:\n\n1st Prize: NT$15,000\n\n2nd Prize: NT$12,000\n\n3rd Prize: NT$9,000\n\nMerit Award: NT$6,000\n(Awards may be withheld if no projects meet the selection criteria.)
3.Awardees must present their projects at the Final Presentation Event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6\ufe0f Review Committee & Process\nApplications will be reviewed in multiple stages by a panel consisting of 3 to 5 invited experts\/scholars and 1 student representative. If no qualified proposals are submitted, awards may be withheld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f For teams with 10 or more members, you may apply for an Action Navigator, who will provide support and guidance throughout your project. Details are outlined in NTNU\u2019s Action Navigator Guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
